The rack

Seven units, in gig order.

Mix Command looks and works like gear your band already knows. Start at the top when you load in, finish at the bottom when you play.

    Road Case

    Who's playing and what they bring. Set up a new band in about four minutes, or pick one you've saved.

  2. U2

    Stage

    A stage plot drawn from your band: who stands where, their gear, their wedges or in-ears.

  3. U3

    Patch Bay

    The hook-up plan, on a drawing of your actual console and stage boxes: which cable goes in which socket. Lock the venue's own inputs so they're never touched.

  4. U4

    Channel Strips

    Line check and gain, one player at a time, with meters that move like the real thing. Starting mixes are set for you.

    Room Tuner Coming

    Tune the PA to the room you're playing tonight.

  6. U6

    Monitor Packs

    Every player gets a link to their own mix on their phone. "More me", "less guitar": they fix it themselves, and nobody else's mix moves.

    Show Controller

    Your cues as a pedalboard with a big GO. Undo any change. Lock the rack for the show so nothing gets bumped mid-set.

The Backstage pass

Describe your rig once: instruments, gear, vocal range, mic, how you like to hear yourself. Any band using Mix Command adds you by your phone number, and your inputs and monitor are set up from it.

A WING, a computer next to it, and your phones.

A Behringer WING

WING, WING Rack or WING Compact, on your network. Your own stage boxes work too.

A Mac, or a Raspberry Pi

Mix Command runs next to the console. On a Mac it sits in the menu bar and finds your WING by itself. Linux and Windows work too.

Everyone's phones

Players open their mix in the browser. Nothing to install. WING Edit keeps working alongside it.
